Aqua Girl Miami Aqua Girl is a gay Miami event that happens in South Beach every year. A highly-anticipated event in Miami that welcomes women and lesbians of all ages to Miami’s beautiful beaches. Aqua Girl’s main goal is to allow people to enjoy a weekend getaway while raising funds to support lesbian rights.
Miami Aqua Girl consists of a variety of events throughout all South Beach and Miami Beach. These events include: comedy shows, dance parties, art exhibitions, dinner parties, and pool parties.
Miami Aqua Girl is also known as the “women’s weekend” because most of the events benefit the Women’s Community Fund; as a consequence, each year hundreds of women come to Miami to be part of it. Generally, the profits are used to provide grants, new scholarships and mentoring programs to women.
