Owned by the City of Miami Beach South Beach Colony Theater has recently emerged from a dramatic three-year, $6.5 million renovation / restoration to reclaim its place as the region's premiere mid-sized performance space. The beautiful art deco style South Beach Colony Theater, located at 1040 Lincoln Road, was transformed into a performing arts theater in 1986. Later, a new lobby and a café were added to give a new bohemian vibe to the theater.

This gay-friendly Miami entertainment center features a new, larger stage house, additional lighting, and state-of-the-art theatrical rigging and sound systems, and completely refurbished auditorium. South Beach Colony Theater has a seating capacity of 440, which includes disabled-accessible seating. You can find tickets of different prizes, yet it s more likely they are going to start at $20 per person.
