Collins Avenue Shopping District Every designer who is anyone has a boutique in South Beach. Collins Avenue Shopping District is focused at the intersection of Collins and 8th Street. This is the center of South Beach designer district, actually two still-evolving retail districts of designer boutiques and interesting, locally-owned shops.
In Collins Avenue Shopping District, from 6th to 9th street, you will find stores such as A/X Armani Exchange, Nicole Miller, Nike, the Gap, Urban Outfitters and Banana Republic.
The most high-end boutiques are located around 8th street between Washington Avenue and Ocean Drive. This area just next to Collins Avenue is where Versace, Todd Oldham, Kenneth Cole, Cynthia Rowley, Hugo Boss and Betsey Johnson are located.
On Collins Avenue, Washington Avenue, and Ocean Drive most shops are relatively new arrivals. Besides, while shopping in Miami’s gay district you can enjoy South Beach’s Art Deco architecture.
