The Miami Gay Pride parade and festival for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community (also referred to as gay pride parades, pride events and pride festivals) are events celebrating the LGBT culture. The Miami gay Pride festival events also can stand for as demonstrations for s certain legal rights such as same-sex marriage.
The 2nd annual Miami Gay Pride festival is to inspire LGBT community to be proud of their sexual orientation and they way they identify with themselves. The Miami Gay Pride Parade and Pride festival will promote the idea that individuals should be proud of their sexual orientation and that being different is a gift.
Pride has been celebrated by the African American and Latino gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) community for a while. However, Miami has not had any complete city wide Miami Gay Pride festival support since before 2009. Now there’s Gay Miami events hosted by the City throughout the year.

Last year, over 20,000 people were on Ocean Drive to attend PRIDE one of the most anticipated gay parties Miami. This year’s Pride will be even bigger with an estimated 35,000 people in attendance. The Gay Pride Pool Party Miami Beach will be debuting for the first time at this year’s Pride festivities is the, which will take place on the rooftop pool of the Hotel Victor.
The First Annual Gay Pride Pool PartyMiami Beach will begin at 11 a.m. along with the VIP parade viewing event. From the best seats in town guests will enjoy complimentary Finlandia cocktails, bottle service and hors d’oeuvres courtesy of the Victor Cafe. Once the parade finishes general admission will begin and partiers will enjoy Pride by the poolside or in the trendy outdoor lounge area. DJs Charlmix and Miik will be spinning for everyone’s enjoyment.
