The Metromover is a great way to travel within Downtown Miami. It is free and ideal to avoid the heavy traffic and trouble finding a parking spot. The stations for the metromover are found 2 blocks apart from each other unlike those of the Metrorail. The Metromover is ideal when going to the American Airlines Arena or Bayside Marketplace which is a very popular Miami tourist attraction. There are a variety of taxi cab companies offering their services to the tourists in Miami. This is a convenient way to get around without getting lost; however, this could be an expensive way to spend your vacations in Miami. It is recommended to take a taxi when it is late at night or if you are uncertain of where you are going. Taxi cabs are just a phone call or a wave away.
